Mount Auburn Cemetery was a popular site for outings and picnics because of the romantic landscapes. It made the public have a need for large parks.
Recreational parks in the 1930’s once funded had playground construction, swimming polls and beachside parks stated on page 27. These parks usually have boardwalks that have restaurants, handball courts, picnic areas and large parking lots.
Personal Reflection:
In some of the parks that I’ve been to, I’ve noticed some do have beautiful landscapes and make it pleasant to visit. I’ve been to Central Park a few times and I can personally stay there for a good amount of time because there’s always something to do or see. Though the zoo there is really small I enjoyed it. It’s obviously a good place to visit with families or friends.
